  • Before we begin crafting your Mahloe piece, each design begins as a simple pencil sketch. We select the chosen stones, then draw the design around them. In this phase we decide how we want the stones to be set (e.g., side by side, stacked), the band width and style and lastly what metal.
  • From here our team begins creating with our hands. Using a jewellery saw, we then cut a strip of sterling silver to the desired length for your ring band. Using the ring mandrel, we then shape the silver strip into a circular band.

  • A small amount of flux is then applied to the ends of the band with a small piece of solder. Use our torch we then heat the area until the solder melts and bonds the metal. Allow it to cool, then the filing and sanding begins! Sanding is done to smooth out any small unwanted lumps and bumps.
  • The design is then cut out of a silver silver sheet, and then form them into bezels that will hold the stones securely.The stones are then placed inside the bezels and the metal is folded around the stone. The stone is then placed under a hand dremel to be polished to perfection and ready for selling.
